3M Performance 400 race previewWith four races to go in the race for the chase we will take a look at those drivers trying to hold on to there spot’s in the chase. It starts Sunday at Michigan International Speedway with the 3M Performance 400 and the 2 mile oval should not disappoint. Let’s take look at drivers at the bottom of the chase standings. Denny Hamlin is sitting in 9th place with four races to go; he will look to stay out of trouble early. Look for Hamlin to try to build on his 8 th place finish last week and move further up the standing with a solid finish Sunday. With an average finish of 10th at Michigan, I think Denny and his Toyota have a great chance of stealing a win this Sunday chance of winning 15%
Kevin Harvick sitting only 64 points ahead of 13th will need a big day at a track where he has finished no lower then 15th in last 5 races held at Michigan. Coming into the season I thought the RCR veteran would be at the top of his game and challenge for his first title. Harvick and his team will need another good finish just to stay in the hunt for the chase. Chance of winning 10% Matt Kenseth has come on as of late and coming into Michigan he has a real shot at victory. Kenseth has won two races at Michigan both in August. With a third place finish in June, look for Kenseth to make his way to the front. Only twenty six points separate Kenseth and 13th place Clint Bowyer making this a huge race for Kenseth. Chance of winning 35%
